Scorching sun day today, almost all the way, in addition to a bit of lunch break, all the way west, the scenery along the way by the farmland gradually into the desert, both and gradually into the rocky cliffs. Along the road, to arrive at the destination Crater Lake Nation Park (Crater Lake National Park) 17:00.

Crater Lake is known as a sapphire in the cascade mountains. 7700 years ago, volcanic group emit too much magma, formed about six miles long, then set a crater lake formed by snow and rain, deep 1932 feet, is the deepest lake in the nation.
Reach the volcanic lake, even the height of summer, where the temperature of only 15 degrees Celsius, the roadside everywhere snow. Temperature factors, where each year only until June to October, open, the year down most of the time it is closed.
Crater Lake lake like a dye showing a color like blue, far from the snow-capped mountains. Originally wanted to open a lap around the volcanic lake, but the middle of the road is closed, we only original passers return.
Overnight in camping in Crater Lake Park, on the edge of the boat dock, is on the snow-capped mountains and the lake, the scenery beautiful, small insects fly in the ointment is too much. 23:30 to sleep at night is cold, it is estimated that only 5 degrees Celsius.

Last Night was cold even we stayed in cabin, we woke up early and made first phone call since we entered into the mountain, we had little miscommunication with people in NY, as our cell phone did not cover well in west.

Anyway, we headed to Grand Teton National Park, which is a closely connected with the Yellowstone National Park, has 12 magnificent snow-covered peaks, including the big issue Farmington Hills highest mountain . Here a lot less visitors than Yellowstone

In the snow-capped mountains at the foot of the lake, you can really taste the glacial lake of paradise-class beauty of snow-capped mountains. The lake is pale blue, crystal clear reflection of the snow-capped mountains showing a touch of gray, the vastness of the lake, like a worldly air the elegant woman. Pick a no man's land, take off your shoes in the lake around the lake chilly lake pebbles were red / yellow / green / white / black / purple colorful lake, and then by years of erosion becomes sleek and smooth in the refraction of light in water, the silence around only hear the sound of water, we all wish to come here again.
along the highway through the town JACKSON HOLE (Jackson Hole) in 11:20. Known as Pearl, western Wyoming traditional culture and modern trends in perfect fusion, here is said to have the best skiing place, but it is summer, we could see countless bicycle enthusiasts. Today to coincide with the American Independence Day (National Day) parade, a lot of people took to the streets, the town looked lively scene. In the parade, as well as female Mounties dressed in white uniforms, riding tall horses, valiant.

Travels all the way to the northwest 12:45 arrive IDAHO (Idaho), along the way are farmland, the rest at a rest stop, the locals tell us the National Day fireworks display tonight, but unfortunately we rushed to hurry The next destination cannot stay.

Oregon (Oregon), was originally going to wear a shortcut to reach the Lake Owyhee State Park. GPS misleading, found that access the fisherman road rocks tyrannize our car , for our safety we abandoned our plan and going to stay at local motel in Caldwell, Idaho instead.

Yellowstone National Park (all-day trip of 134 miles)

Yellowstone National Park  (all-day trip of 134 miles)

9:30 left the campground, today we are ready to run recommended along the park map Link to visit, and then out of the park from the south gate.
Attractions recommended by the park's western up, fountains distribution to wide. We choose to Norris, Madison, Old Faithful---also known as the old tree fountain, a fountain of Yellowstone park, we get there and happened to catch the eruption, rushed nearly 20 m water column, just a little small, we heard next eruption can be  few hours.

Yellowstone National Park covers an area of wide, the terrain is complex and changeable, sometimes beautiful, sometimes spectacular. Today we saw three bears, two black bears, one brown bear.

17:00 left Yellowstone Park, camped at Flagg Ranch Resort campsite, we booked cabins, one night price of $ 70, there is no privacy, laundry is also very expensive, a lot of people. Camping anti-bear warning sign locate everywhere, trash in high places, to handle perpendicular to the outside, to prevent the middle of the night the bear came to eat.
